Report Cards go home Nov 21st.  Students will be receiving percentage marks this term, which will be new for many.  This is only one part of the Report Card.

Willow Books...

Our class will be participating in the Willow Book voting process this year.  I have personally read over 60 titles of these books from past and present years and I have a selection students are always welcome to borrow from me.

We recently finished the book  Better Than Weird  by Anne Kertz, the sequel to the book The Mealworm Diaries.  Both books are set from the perspective of a grade 6 student.

Currently we have begun the novel Ortega which is about a scientifically altered gorilla that can speak and has just joined a grade 6 class.

Later tonight you'll see a variety of student work posted.  What a creative group!

As we have a long weekend coming up, I am posting Unit 6 Spelling Words for our upcoming test on Tuesday, Oct 14th.
-There is NO SCHOOL FRI. OCT and NO SCHOOL MON. OCT. 13th
-THURS. OCT 9th is cut off for hot lunch orders (students were given mail last week)
